Meet the Counseling Team

SCHOOL COUNSELOR: Cesar Balderas

Mr. Balderas is new to Twelve Bridges High School in 2023 but not Lincoln. Mr. Balderas grew up in Lincoln and spent all K-12 years with the WPUSD.  He has been a School Counselor since 2017 and worked at Foothill High School prior to TBHS. Mr. Balderas also has spent time working at Lincoln High School, Twelve Bridges Elementary School and Glen Edwards Middle School .  His education includes degrees at Sierra College, California State University of Fullerton, and California State University of Sacramento. Mr. Balderas enjoys helping students achieve their goals while also finding ways to connect to the school whether it is through classes, clubs, or sports teams on campus. Mr. Balderas can always be counted on to talk about the Lakers, Niners, Giants, or anything Marvel/DC Comics related.

SCHOOL COUNSELOR: Janet Baird

Mrs. Baird is excited to be a part of the Rhino team. She is a school counselor with over 20 years of experience in education as a teacher, transformational coach, and designer and facilitator of professional development mostly around resilience and equity. She has a Bachelor's degree in English from Loyola Marymount University, a Master's degree in Secondary Education: Curriculum and Instruction from San Francisco State University, a Master's degree in Educational Counseling from National University, and a Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA. She models what being a life-long learner is truly about. Mrs. Baird is passionate about creating equitable spaces where every student can thrive. Her hope is to empower all students to reach their full potential at TBHS and beyond!

 

SCHOOL COUNSELOR: Tom Kelley

Mr. Tom Kelley, our school Counselor! He has experience at all levels of school counseling, and will be ready to guide our Rhinos to success!

 

 

 

 

 

Counseling Secretary: Kathleen Cummings

Kathleen Cummings is a dedicated Counseling Secretary at Twelve Bridges High School who has a deep passion for helping others, Kathleen takes pride in creating a welcoming and organized environment for all  of our students.

Mrs. Cummings support in managing appointments, handling student and parent communications, and ensuring the smooth operation within the Counseling Department. 

 

 

REGISTRAR: Connie "CiCi" Cook

CiCi is a whiz with student registrations, and has a mean green thumb- just wait until you see her orchid collection! Ms. Cook has been at LHS for the past few years, and we are so excited to welcome her to the Rhino family!
