H.Pierce

Heather Pierce, Principal 

Mrs. Heather Pierce is a lifelong resident of Lincoln and an Alumni of Western Placer Unified School District Schools.  Her Husband, Mr. Bob Pierce and her have 2 children who attend WPUSD schools. 
Mrs. Pierce knew she wanted to be a teacher before she started kindergarten.  She graduated from Sacramento State University with her BS and earned her Masters in Education specializing in Cross Cultural Teaching. She taught in the Social Science department at Lincoln High School for 10 years while also serving as the Department Lead. Mrs. Pierce has served as a College and Career Specialist, Middle School Assistant Principal, High School Assistant Principal, and now as the Principal of Twelve Bridges High School.  Mrs. Pierce's passion in education is in preparing students to be college and career ready and to have a school that makes everyone feel welcomed and cared for.
When not in the office, Mrs. Pierce likes to travel the world and experience different countries and cultures. She enjoys camping, podcasts, audio books and she loves coffee!

Chris Bombard, Assistant Principal

Chris Bombard proudly serves as the Assistant Principal at Twelve Bridges High School, bringing a deep sense of dedication and commitment to the very community where he was raised. A Lincoln native and graduate of Lincoln High School, he has a unique perspective on the educational landscape.

Chris is married to Cecilia Bombard, an inspiring elementary school teacher at Scott Leaman Elementary, and together they are raising twins who keep them on their toes and fill their lives with joy. Outside of his professional role, he is an avid enthusiast of smoking meat, perfecting his craft with each barbecue, and is passionate about coaching his twins. Whether on the sidelines or in the kitchen, he brings the same energy, leadership, and teamwork that he fosters in his students.

Above all, Chris values time spent with family, embracing the balance between a fulfilling career in education and creating lasting memories with his loved ones. With a heart for his community and a drive to support students, he strives to impact the lives of those he serves positively.

Erik Yergensen, Assistant Principal

Mr. Yergensen joined the Crash as an “Original Rhino” in 2021. In 2022, Mr. Yergensen moved from the classroom into administration. Prior to that, he was a Resource Specialist in WPUSD since 2016 working at LHS and TBHS. Mr. Yergensen started his teaching career in the Bay Area. He worked as a special education teacher and a track/cross country coach in the Bay Area from 2012-2016. His educational background includes an undergraduate degree from UC Davis in 2007 as well as a Masters in Special Education from San Francisco State in 2014. 

Mr. Yergensen lives in Lincoln with his wife and two young children. He enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and staying active. 

Mr. Yergensen grew up in Visalia, CA and was involved in cross country, track, ASB, and choir during his high school years. RHINO STRONG!

 

 

A.Snyder

Allie Snyder, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Snyder became part of the Crash and WPUSD community in 2023. Before joining, she taught science and CTE in a neighboring district, where she also served as a swim coach and club advisor. A native of the greater Sacramento area, Mrs. Snyder earned her undergraduate degree from California State University, Chico, and holds a Master’s in Teaching with Technology from Brandman University. She now resides in Lincoln with her husband, Mr. Snyder, who teaches at Twelve Bridges Middle School, and their two children, who also attend WPUSD schools. In her free time, she enjoys being with family and friends, reading, and swimming.
